Mkango Resources Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, explores for and develops rare earth elements and associated minerals in Malawi, United Kingdom, and Poland.

The company also explores for uranium, tantalum, niobium, rutile, nickel, cobalt, corundum, zircon, ilmenite, gold, graphite, base metals, platinum group metals, vanadium, chromium, and niobium deposits.

Its flagship project is the Songwe Hill property which consist of one of a block of eleven retention licences located in southeast Malawi.
