State Street SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Resources ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by State Street Global Advisors, Australia Services Ltd. It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Australia Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Australia. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the metals and mining sector which include aluminum, non-ferrous metal mining, salt and borate mining, phosphate rock mining, gold and precious metals, and producers of iron and steel and related products, and energy sector which include oil and natural gas, steaming and coking coal, coal seam methane gas, and uranium. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/ASX 200 Resources Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. State Street SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Resources ETF was formed on March 15, 2011 and is domiciled in Australia.
