Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese Limited manufactures and sells low/medium/high carbon silico manganese alloys in India and internationally.

The company’s products are used in manufacturing steel and stainless-steel products. It is also involved in the generation of electric power with a hydro power plant with a capacity of 21 MW located in Rajakkad, Kerala.

The company was formerly known as Indsil Electrosmelts Ltd. and changed its name to Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese Limited in January 2008.

The company was incorporated in 1990 and is headquartered in Coimbatore, India. Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese Limited is a subsidiary of Sunmet Holdings India Private Limited.
