Chimimport AD, together with its subsidiaries, acquires, manages, and sells shares in Bulgarian and foreign companies.

The company operates through Production, Trade and Services; Finance; Transportation; and Real Estate and Engineering segments.

It is involved in the financing of companies; provision of banking, finance, life and non-life insurance, and pension insurance; and extraction of oil and natural gas.

The company also engages in the construction of output capacity for the oil refining industry; production of biodiesel and rubber items; production and trade of petroleum, natural gas and chemical products; and production of vegetable oils, as well as purchasing, processing, and trading of grain foods.

In addition, it is involved in the aviation transport and ground activities for servicing and repair of aircraft and aircraft engines; river and sea transport, and port infrastructure businesses; commercial agency and brokerage; and commissioning, forwarding, and warehousing activities.

Further, the company engages in the contractual fund management, securitization of receivables and real estate businesses.
