Gas Natural del Oriente S.A., ESP engages in the commercialization, transport, and distribution of fuel gas in Colombia.

The company is also involved in the exploration, exploitation, storage, use, transportation, refining, purchase, sale, and distribution of hydrocarbons, as well as its derivatives and representations.

In addition, it engages in the engineering, advisory, construction, auditing, manufacturing, and consulting work related to hydrocarbons; construction, operation and maintenance of gas pipelines for public or private use, oil pipelines, poleo pipelines, polyducts, storage, packaging, filling or transfer plants, liquefaction, gasification or compression stations, tanks, and for transportation and storage; and marketing of hydrocarbons and its derivatives.

The company was incorporated in 1977 and is based in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Gas Natural del Oriente S.A., ESP is a subsidiary of Vanti S.A. ESP.
