The company offers LED ceiling and panel lights; high and low bay LED lights; LED warehouse lighting; LED outdoor flood lights and flood lamps; LED flash products; LED street, roadway, and area lighting; LED solar streetlights; LED wall lamps; LED down lights; LED tube and batten lights; and explosion proof LED lights under the Laxapana brand.

It also provides steel building products; and distributes hardware items. The company’s products are used in shop and retail, office, hospital, architectural, education, and industrial lighting applications.

It distributes its products to hardware and electrical shops. The company was formerly known as Laxapana Batteries PLC and changed its name to Laxapana PLC in April 2024.

Laxapana PLC was incorporated in 1956 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
