The company also provides fixed deposits; savings; leasing and auto loans; mortgage loans; dealer finance solutions; entrepreneur finance solutions for micro, small, and medium enterprises; gold loans; margin trading; and special foreign investment deposit accounts.

In addition, it offers real estate services, including renovations, owner behalf sales, and land sales services, as well as financial and advisory services.

The company was formerly known as People’s Merchant Finance PLC and changed its name to PMF Finance PLC in May 2012.

The company was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka. People's Merchant Finance PLC operates as a subsidiary of Sterling Capital Investments Pvt Ltd.
