United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd. engages in the generation and distribution of electricity and steam in Bangladesh.

It operates an 82-megawatt (MW) gas fired power plant in Dhaka export processing zone (DEPZ); a 72 MW gas fired power plant in the Chattogram export processing zone (CEPZ); a 300 MW power plant at Anwara, Chittagong; a 195 MW power plant at Ashuganj, Brahmanbaria; a 115 MW power plant in Jamalpur; and a 28 MW power plant at Sylhet.

The company was formerly known as Malancha Holdings Limited and changed its name to United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd. in October 2009.

The company was incorporated in 2007 and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd. is a subsidiary of United Mymensingh Power Ltd.
