In addition, the company operates Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut, Kalbi Donburi and Sun Tofu Specialty Restaurant Kandon, and Palasso Stone Oven Bakery; and produces and sells leaf lettuce.

The company was formerly known as Misumi Petroleum Gas Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Misumi Co., Ltd. in April 1989.
