It manufactures and trades in cotton, fibers, garments, footwear, machineries and equipment, spare parts, raw materials, chemicals, and dyes, as well as provides packaging services for garment and textile industry; buying and selling refrigeration equipment, air conditioners, radio and television receivers, and construction materials; installation and repair services for machinery and equipment; and freight transport business, road.

It also engaged in the real estate business, commercial center; leasing of offices, factories, warehouses, machinery and equipment; brokerage services; and agent for buying, selling and consigning goods.

In addition, it involved in the investment, construction, business, installation, repair, and budget preparation of civil and industrial works, industrial parks, and tourist areas; short-term accommodation services; and catering services.

Additionally, the company engages in the retail sale of beverages, food in stores; real estate business; leasing and owning of land business; and other retail in integrated business stores.

The company was formerly known as Thanh Cong Textile Garment Joint Stock Company and changed its name to Thanh Cong Textile Garment Investment Trading Joint Stock Company in May 2008.

The company was founded in 1967 and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
