Bera hf. engages in the production, sale, export, and marketing of foodstuffs, beverages, and related products in Iceland.

The company operates through four segments: Egils Alcoholic, Egils Nonalcoholic, Danol, and Export. It produces and sells alcoholic beverages under the Gull, Boli, Brennivín, and other brands; and alcohol-free beverages under the Egils, Appelsín, and Egils Malt brands, as well as imports and sells wines, strong spirits, and alcopops of various brands.

In addition, it offers coffee machines, automats for drinks or snacks, and coolers for beverages to corporate companies; and sells various food products and specialty goods.

The company was formerly known as Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson hf. and changed its name to Bera hf. in February 2026.

Bera hf. was founded in 1913 and is based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
