Prestar Resources Berhad, an investment holding company, manufactures and trades in steel related products primarily in Malaysia.

It operates in three segments: Investment, Trading, and Manufacturing. The company engages in the manufacturing of steel pipes and tubes; and supplying and installing guardrails, material handling equipment, pallet racking systems, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, and other steel-related products.

It is also involved in the supply of hot- and cold-rolled steel pipes, hollow sections ERW, cold-drawn automotive tubes, slitting and shearing products, galvanized and electro-galvanized products, silicon and stainless-steel coils/sheets, mild steel flat bars, and expanded metal products.

In addition, the company offers wheelbarrows, platform trucks, boltless shelving, drive-in products, ASRS, and other racking systems, as well as galvanized highway guardrails and handrails, hot-dip galvanized metal products, and threaded items.

Additionally, it imports and distributes general hardware; manufactures and installs structural steel works, and storage and shelving systems; and deals in local forklifts for rental and sales.

The company was formerly known as Prestar Industries Berhad. Prestar Resources Berhad was incorporated in 1984 and is headquartered in Rawang, Malaysia.
