Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the engineering, utility services, and investment businesses in the Sultanate of Oman.

It operates through seven segments: Engineering, Procurement and Construction; Operation and Maintenance; Billing; Products and Solutions; Training Centre; Investments; and Fire and Safety.

The company engages in the supply and installation of power generating equipment, construction of power supply lines, and other related projects, as well as civil works; and operation and maintenance of power generation stations, desalination and power plants, sewage network and pipeline systems, water distribution network, medical equipment, and educational institutions.

It also offers billing and collection of electricity, telecom, and water dues, as well as mobile app, web-based payment, kiosks machine, and e-payment and smart meters reading solutions; and products and solutions for electrical and mechanical engineering, including tariff and power quality metering systems, metering and SCADA panels, switchgears, APFC products, energy management systems, transformers, control and relay panels, manhole covers, water and flow meters, pipes and fittings, and geogrids.

In addition, the company provides professional courses training; invests in properties and equity instruments; and installs and maintains fire prevention systems, fire extinguishers, circuits, sensors, and extension cords.

Further, it is involved in insurance services; manufacturing of precast beams, plates, structures, and buildings; real estate development; non-specialized medical clinics; and design activities and advertising.

The company was formerly known as Oman National Electric Company SAOG and changed its name to Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG in January 2007.
