It operates through three segments: Rooms, Food and Beverage, and Other Services. The company is involved in the sale of rooms and rent of office space; and sale of food and beverages through restaurants and bar.

It also operates Sheraton Lagos Hotel and Federal Palace Hotels and Casino. In addition, the company provides catering, and advisory and consultancy services; develops hotel leisure facilities; apartment letting activities; recreational facilities; and operates night clubs and business centre services.

The company was formerly known as Properties Development Limited. Ikeja Hotel Plc was incorporated in 1972 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
