Ho Tung Chemical Corp., together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, processes, and sells various chemical products in Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia, and internationally.

It operates through Chemicals, Oil Products, Investments, and Cement segments. The company offers normal paraffins, linear alkyl benzene, linear alkyl benzene sulfonic acid, sodium laureth sulphate, hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride, octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride, fatty alcohols, fatty alcohol ethoxylate, coconut diethanol amide, cocoamidopropyl betaine, dodecyl dimethyl betaine, and de-aromatic solvents, as well as sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate.

It also engages in oil products warehousing services, including storage tank and its auxiliary equipment rentals; oil loading/unloading and storage facilities operation; imports, exports and re-exports; transshipment; and blending/processing, etc. In addition, the company engages in the manufacture and sale of cement and cement raw materials; oil trading; wholesale and trade in chemicals and fuel; development of new energy; and general investment activities.

The company was formerly known as Ho Tung Holding Group and changed its name to Ho Tung Chemical Corp. in July 2005.

Ho Tung Chemical Corp. was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
