It operates through four segments, Marine Transportation, Investment, Department Store, and Rental. The company engages in dry bulk shipping operations that include the transportation of various bulk materials comprising iron ores, coal, grains, steel products, lumber or log carriers, cement, fertilizer, precious metal, other commodities, and dry bulk cargoes.

It is also involved in owning and operation of vessels, including panamax, kamsarmax, handysize, and supramax vessels; wholesale of vessels and related components; and car and equipment rental.

In addition, the company offers fleet management, shipping agency, vessel management, and international transportation services; automobile financial leasing, business management, and management consultancy services; and crewing services, such as crewmember recruitment, selection, and training.

Further, it engages in the trading of real estate; development, rental, sale, and management of residential and commercial buildings; trading of cosmetics, apparel, shoes, hat, etc; e-commerce business; and department store retail business.
