The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in Canadian dollar denominated investment grade fixed rate government and government-guaranteed bonds with maturity of at least one year. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE Canada All Government Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Canadian Government Bond Index ETF was formed on November 6, 2006 and is domiciled in Canada.
