iShares U.S. High Yield Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (TSX:XHY)

iShares U.S. High Yield Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. It is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. The fund invests in fixed income markets of the United States. It invests directly and also through other ETFs in U.S. dollar denominated high yield corporate bonds. The fund uses derivatives such as currency forward contracts to hedge any resulting U.S. dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid High Yield Total Return Index hedged in CAD. iShares U.S. High Yield Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) was formed on January 21, 2010 and is domiciled in Canada.
