iShares ESG Advanced 1-5 Year Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund primarily invests in Canadian dollar investment grade corporate bonds with maturities between 1 to 5 years. It invests in securities of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg MSCI 1-5 year Canada Corporate Choice ESG Screened 10% Issuer Capped Index, by using representative sampling technique. It does not invest in securities of companies operating across fossil fuels, adult entertainment, alcohol, cannabis, gambling, tobacco, genetically modified organisms, controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, conventional weapons, for-profit prisons, predatory lending, palm oil and nuclear power sectors. iShares ESG Advanced 1-5 Year Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF was formed on August 6, 2021 and is domiciled in Canada.
