The fund invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It invests in US dollar denominated high yield fixed rate corporate bonds with maturities of greater than one year. The fund invest through other funds and through derivatives instruments to hedge its foreign currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. High Yield Very Liquid Index CAD Hedged, by using full replication technique. BMO High Yield US Corporate Bond Hedged to CAD Index Fund was formed on October 16, 2009 and is domiciled in Canada.
