The company offers fashion items under the Boss, Carolina Herrera, Dsquared2, Etro, Isabel Marant, Missoni, Moschino, PORTS, and Victoria Beckham brand names; lifestyle products under the Carrera, Eyewear by David Beckham, Marc Jacobs, Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Tommy Jeans, Kate Spade New York, Kurt Geiger, Fossil, HUGO, Juicy Couture, Liz Claiborne, Love Moschino, Pierre Cardin, and Stuart Weitzman brand names; sports and outdoor items under the Smith and Under Armour brand names; and mass cool products under the Blenders, Polaroid, Privé Revaux, and Seventh Street brand names.

It sells its products to opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists, retail chains, department stores, specialty retailers, boutiques, duty free, and sports stores through a network of independent distribution partners, direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms, and online sales channels.

The company was formerly known as Società Azionaria Fabbrica Italiana Lavorazione Occhiali S.p.A. and changed its name to Safilo Group S.p.A. in June 2007.
