Acknit Industries Limited manufactures and sells industrial gloves and garments in India.

It operates through four segments: Industrial Hand Gloves, Garments, Power Generation, and Other & Traded Items.

The company offers aramid, arm, cut and sewn coated, cut protection, cut resistant coated and leather, heat resistant, impact protection, knitted, latex foam, latex sandy and wrinkle, leather driver, leather palm, leather welder, nitrile coated, nitrile foam, nitrite sandy, nitrile touch screen, PU coated, and thermal cold protection hand gloves; ear muffs; and safety shoes.

It also provides basic, image, protective, reflective, uniform, and casual workwear body protection products; body harness, hooks and connectors, lanyards, retractable fall arrester, rope grab and fall arrested, and work positioning fall protection products; and chin strap, inner fitting, safety cap and hood, safety helmet, and sweatband head protection products.

In addition, the company generates power through windmills. It also exports its products.

The company was formerly known as Acknit Knitting Limited. Acknit Industries Limited was incorporated in 1990 and is based in Kolkata, India.
