The company operates through four segments: Construction and Installation Activities; Tourism Service Activities; Electricity Production; and Other Activities.

It offers construction services for irrigation, hydraulic, hydropower, industrial, civil, and transportation infrastructure projects; extraction and transportation of construction materials; concrete structural strength testing services; overhaul of construction machinery; manufacturing and refurbishment of mechanical accessories; and production of construction mechanical products.

The company also engages in hotel and restaurant business; trading of alcohol, tobacco, and massage services; agency for alcohol, beer, and soft drinks; internet service agency; domestic and international travel services; other tourism-related services; foreign currency exchange agency; trading of handicrafts; organization of conferences and seminars; advertising services; airline and railway ticket agency; and study abroad consulting.

In addition, it is involved in the passenger transportation business under contract by automobile; marine sports and entertainment services; vocational training activities; grouting and foundation treatment for construction works; and labor export services.

The company was formerly known as Irrigation Construction Company No.7 and changed its name to Construction Joint Stock Company 47 in February 1996.
