In addition, it engages in crude oil refining and sales; operation of gas station; sports association sponsoring; sale of asphalt; manufacturing and sale of chemicals, petrochemicals, lubricant oil, separators for secondary batteries, lithium battery, storage battery, and industrial gas; operates in information and communication, transportation, and warehousing industries; lithium cell certification; exploration and injection of carbon dioxide storage; issuance and redemption of floating securities; carbon collection and storage-related investment projects; and investment activities.

Further, the company provides management consulting and information gathering, battery reuse/recycle, oil development, energy, resource development, software development, mobile telecommunications, wire communications, information and communication facilities management, databases and online information, maintenance management, internet portal, research and development, publication and telemarketing, and telecommunication services.

The company was formerly known as SK Holdings Co., Ltd and changed its name to SK Inc. in March 2021.
