Vanguard Global Aggregate Bond Index ETF (CAD-hedged) is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. The fund is co-managed by Vanguard Global Advisers, LLC. It invests in the fixed income markets of countries across the globe. It invests directly or indirectly primarily in a wide spectrum of the global investment grade, including government, government agency, corporate and securitized fixed income investments and uses derivative instruments to seek to hedge the foreign currency exposure of the securities. The fund seeks to invest in securities with maturities of more than one year. It replicates the performance of Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Float Adjusted Composite Index (CAD-Hedged), using representative sampling technique.
