It also formulates, manufactures, and markets branded prescription drugs in therapeutic areas, including feminine care products, pain relief, skin care, digestive health, growth and development, cardiology, vision care, central nervous system, and respiratory; and manufactures and markets personal high-complexity drugs for hospital use comprising antibiotics, blood clot, immunosuppressant, oncology, and analgesics products.

In addition, the company develops, manufactures, and markets OTC consumer healthcare products consisting of gastrointestinal, skin care, cough and cold, analgesics, urological, and vitamin, minerals, and supplements, as well as antibiotics, anti-infective, and anti-parasitic.

Further, it offers blood glucose meters, telemonitoring, Rx oral anti-diabetics products, insulin delivery systems, and other diabetes solutions; and syringes, double chamber syringes, injection vials, injection ampoules, sterilized powder products, sterile droppers, and lyophilized solid vials.

The company was formerly known as Procaps Group S.A. Sofgen Pharma S.A. was founded in 1977 and is based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
