iShares 1-5 Year Laddered Government Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests directly and through other funds in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in Canadian dollars denominated fixed rate investment grade government bonds with a remaining effective term to maturity of between zero and six years. It seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Canada 1-5 Year Laddered Government Bond Index. iShares 1-5 Year Laddered Government Bond Index ETF was formed on January 31, 2008 and is domiciled in Canada.
