The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in Canadian dollar denominated investment-grade fixed rate government, provincial, corporate, supranational entities, and municipal bonds with a maturity of at least one year. It seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Canada Universe Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Core Canadian Universe Bond Index ETF was formed on November 20, 2000 and is domiciled in Canada.
