Shikibo Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, manufactures, processes, and markets textile products in Japan, Asia, and internationally.

It operates in three segments: Textiles; Industrial Materials; and Real Estate and Services. The company offers various yarns, fabrics, textiles, knits, and secondary products used for general clothing, sportswear, casual wear, and uniform, as well as bed and bedding.

It also provides chemical industry products, including industrial adhesive for electronic boards production and food additives; industrial materials, such as dryer canvas used for paper, cardboard, and food production, as well as filter clothes; and composite materials comprising fiber reinforced materials, glass fiber reinforced plastics, carbon fiber reinforced plastics, and others.

In addition, the company is involved in the transaction, leasing, and management of real estate, as well as rental of commercial buildings, apartments, and mixed bathing facilities; operation of Shikibo Hall; supply of linen to hotels and home cleaning; logistics and distribution businesses; and engages in solar power generation.

It exports its products. The company was incorporated in 1892 and is headquartered in Chuo, Japan.
