Meiji Shipping Group Co., Ltd., through its subsidiaries, engages in the maritime business in Japan and internationally.

The company operates through three segments: Ocean Shipping Business, Hotel-Related Business, and Real Estate Rental Business.

It owns crude and product oil, methanol, and chemical tankers, as well as LNG, LPG, car, container, chip, and bulk carriers that are operated primarily under time charter parties with shipping companies.

The company also offers ship management, ship management, crew manning, supervision of new shipbuilding construction, etc. In addition, it develops hotels, golf courses, and restaurants; and engages in the development office building, housing rental, insurance agency business, nursery school business, nursing home business and other properties.

The company was formerly known as Meiji Shipping Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Meiji Shipping Group Co., Ltd. in October 2023.

Meiji Shipping Group Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1911 and is headquartered in Kobe, Japan.
