iShares Government Inflation ETF (ASX:ILB)

iShares Government Inflation ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Investment Management (Australia) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. It invests in Australian Dollar denominated, fixed-rate inflation bonds issued by government and semi-government entities with a maturity of less than 50 years. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as between AAA and BBB by S&P. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Inflation Government Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares UBS Government Inflation ETF Index Fund. iShares Government Inflation ETF was formed on March 12, 2012 and is domiciled in Australia.
