S.P.E.E.H. Hidroelectrica S.A., together with its subsidiaries, produces and supplies electricity from hydroelectric and wind sources in Romania.

It operates through Electricity Generation and Electricity Supply segments. The company also provides preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, construction, and specialized technical consultancy services for the energy sector; engines, turbines, equipment, and mechanical components for hydropower plants and other energy installations; technical and production support; and refurbishment and modernization services for hydropower equipment and infrastructure.

It serves electricity suppliers and entities that trade electricity on the wholesale electricity market; and non-household and household final consumers.

As of December 31, 2025, the company owned and operated 188 hydropower and small hydropower plants, including 5 pumping stations with a total installed hydropower generation capacity of 6.3 GW; and 36 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 108 MW.
