iShares U.S. IG Corporate Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (TSX:XIG)

iShares U.S. IG Corporate Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. It is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It invests directly and through other ETFs, in U.S. dollar denominated, investment grade corporate bonds with a maturity of more than one year. The fund uses derivatives such as currency forwards to hedge the U.S dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Total Return Index hedged in CAD. iShares U.S. IG Corporate Bond Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) was formed on January 21, 2010 and is domiciled in Canada.
