It is involved in the sale, processing, levelling, shearing, and processing of steel plates, including hot-rolled, checkered, pickled, and surface-treated steel plates, as well as deformed steel bars for steel-reinforced concrete.

The company also engages in steel reinforcement work, contractor operations, and construction of exterior walls.

The company was formerly known as Ono Kenzai Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Onoken Co., Ltd. in February 1957.
